I got TIE from HMV on the day of release watched all the extras which I was buzzing with, start to watch the film and everythings fine untill Combo draws a line of spit across the floor and separates the gang, 00:48:48 Shaun sits on his own
then - DVD error my Computer sounds like it's gonna blow up and then spits it out, If I put it in my mates DVD player it goes mental and wont even play
I got another copy the other day, stick it in, same problem
I saw TIE three times at the cinema and would have seen it more if I had the cash
is it a bad batch coz I do live in Cumbria after all (had to travel to Leeds to see it the first time),
anyone else had the same problem?
gutteds an understatement, av watched the first 50mins everyday since I got it, wouldnt mind watching the second half though!

bought a copy from hmv in perth while on holiday in scotland last week and threw the bag and receipt away. tried watching it last night but it all went tits up at more or less the same scene as described in the above post, from then on it just keep sticking or jumping. have been out and bought another copy from my hometown hmv this morning and have now been able to see the rest of the film.

Well that's piss poor then!
I wonder if it only effects the special fold out cover editions which are HMV exclusive?

We've not had any returns at my store yet and its been selling really well. Its not unusual to get a small batch of faulty dvds but i'd definately know by now if it was a nationwide problem.

Now that you mention it, my Virgin copy blew its load too early and all. Tried it on multiple players but it still keeps skipping and jumping about like a toddler who's been at the blue Smarties. I reckon someone spilt Tango on the control console at the DVD plant, like in that Chevy Chase film where he gets turned into the Invisible Man by accident... made in England by Trotters' Independent Traders?
