Two superb bits of acting in the film...one when combo is telling the 'pud pud' story and Vicky Mclure shows how uncomfortable she is all with her eyes
Second one being in the NF meeting where Frank Harper is giving his speech. Tommo sits there and says and does nothing but just listens and is totally believeable.
Great stuff

eh? i think there was more than one superb bit of acting in this mate.
but as far as "saying nothing" goes Kezz really deserves a mention, superb acting with not a lot of lines. I just feel that his presense was always known and the gang/film wouldnt have been the same without him. Plus thats one cool white jacket...
Banjo deserves a mention aswell, infact, everyone acted brilliantly in this film didnt they, yeesh.

I don't think tonyeboah was saying there were ONLY two bits of good acting, he was just pointing out some highlights from the silent acting in the film.
Just need to add my own silent acting bit... Woody's reactions as Cynthia is questioning Lol about the shaving of Shaun's head.

eh? i think there was more than one superb bit of acting in this mate. Come on now, Hyde. It wouldn't be like our Tony to knock the film.

My favourite bit of acting is probably when Milky is telling Combo about his family and saying how he should come to his grandmothers with him for some food...and you can see Combo getting more and more agitated. When he says "Yeah that'd be nice, wouldnt it" he looks like he's about to cry!
Another good bit is when Combo asks Milky to score him some weed, then convinces him by saying he'll split it with him...the smirk on Combo's face when Milky changes his mind is brilliant!
Tommo deserves a medal for the bit when he explains to his mum about being picked on 3 times that day. I think he played that bit so well. You really feel for him.

i like the bit where tomo comes home after having his head shaved, when jo calls his name it is as though he has been dragged back into reallity after his great day and all his problems are real again.............he can do that when i ask him to help with the pots...

he can do that when i ask him to help with the pots... oohhh the dreaded pots! that always used to be a killer for me in my house an all.. ----------------------- anyway.. Nice One Hyde Without trying to promote myself here.. or any of the other cast in similar scenarios for that matter.. As an Actor playing an un-pivotal character In a Shane Meadows film, It is soo unbelievably hard from our persepctive to not .. A) - jeopardize the film by selfishly speaking un-necessarily, and changing the plot/direction in order to try and feature in the film more, B) - Speak out of character anyway. Being Honest, the character Kezz wouldn't speak his reactions throughout the film, he'd just show it with body language/facial expressions etc.. In a film that bases itself on realisim, Would that be what happens in real life - Yes. Would the film be Boring as fuck if the whole film spent more time showing everyones 'real reactions' - Yes. Shane and the editors ahve done a good job in my opinion of finding that medium.

that intake of breath from combo when he's sat at the steering wheel after he's been rejected. the scene could have been cut right there and you would have guessed at the violent outburst that was to come
