Hi everyone, long time no speak Big news! Sunday just gone me and Vicky went to the Writers Guild Awards in London for Shane because he was nominated for a Guild award in the 'Best Screenplay (Feature Film)' category, but he was out of the country. No real surprise but Shane won!!! The films that were nominated in the category were; The Lives Of The Saints. The Wind That Shakes The Barley. The Last King Of Scotland. and This Is England. A very nervous experience giving a speech on behalf of Shane especially when he hadn't given us a speech before hand and i was dressed in trainers, jeans, hoody, and army style jacket! stood next to Vicky dressed to impress Thats what happens when your stuck in traffic, running late, and as the driver, cant get dressed in the car! Well deserved Nidge!

Congratulations Shane! I'm curious as to how they judged it though... Was it by the original script or by what was said/done in the film itself?

Thanks for the update Andrew!
Congratulations to Shane.
Love the close up of the award itself, you rarely see such trinkets in such detail unless you win one!
