Hi everyone, I recently got to see This is England, and as I was scanning imdb.com to find more films with those amazing actors in them, I came across this forum! Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the film, one of the best I've seen in a very long time. Had a nice drink on the table next to me while watching it, and as the movie ended I noticed I hadn't touched the drink!
Seriously, you don't see acting like this in many films, I was blown away.

Hi Ollie,..... That is very kind of you. Thanks. I was just packing my bags to go back to London tomorrow and a song came on classic fm (im a boff ,yes i do like classic...), anyhews, it was my favourite italian composer Ludovico Einaudi and it was the song from THIS IS ENGLAND, when Shaun is walking alone in the rain and the raindrops fall on him, he holds out his little paw. I had to lie down on me bed and enjoy the experience. Brought back goosey bump memories. His music is so powerful, yet really gentle, it makes you feel so emotional. boom..... A genious move on Shane's behalf finding that music, it rips yr heart out. Im dead emotional now, i dont know if ive packed me undies, ill have to re check... Welcome to the site Ollie. Jo |
