Just watched it again and that scene in which Combo beats the s*** out of Milky always gets me. Just wondering whether his character survives? I know it don't explain in the film but maybe somebody has some inside info. Love Calum xx.

I'm sure there is an alternative ending somewhere that sees Milky with Shaun after whats happend. I'm pretty sure I have read somewhere he was ok.

Cynthia (Shauns mum) says in the scene with Shaun near the end: "Milky's gonna be alright you know" Also Dazza is correct, there is an alternate ending scene (which i really liked) of Milky meeting back up with Shaun at the end. I think we can safely say he survived

He survived.
I think the point of the film starts off as a racism comment, but ends up being that Combo's racism stems from his deep insecurities as an individual, and he chanels that anger into nationalist pursuits, thinking it to be an asset, when in fact it is killing him from the inside.
I do a lot of campaigning and research into racial stereotyping and racist behaviousr, and alsmo tevery single raist I have met during that time has been a very angry, uptight and insecure individual.
Ignorance breeds fear. Fear breeds hate. TIE highlights that effectively, whilst also making it a human story.
