I've just finished watching "This is england" after hearing Kermode discuss it on Five live and I'm still knocked out. Mr Meadows is two years younger than myself and obviously remembers the same things about the time as I do. I wanted a "Grifter" (Bike) for Christmas, but got a "Chopper", I wanted Doc Martins for school but we couldn't afford them, I remember my first proper snog with an older girl (the sister of a mate) in a garage, which, I said at the time, was like kissing a wet fish. So Thank You Shane for making such a Marvelous movie, for me the most touching piece since Shawshank. I also love the soundtrack particularly "Ludovico Einaudi", I used some tracks from "Le onde" on a small movie I made (Mega Baby), not long after the birth of my daughter. Thanks Agaiin.

Welcome! Great to see you enjoyed the film. I'd completely agree about Einaudi, which of his CDs would you recommend?
