Hi SM fans,
I am very lucky to have helped out on the making of DMS. I've always wanted to work on a movie ever since I was a wee lad; so working on such a great film was a privilege and honour.
Tried to get ticket to see This is England at the BFI LFF but unfortunately did not. I know a few people that whent though and they all said it is a great film.

dms =directly moulded soles, british army issued boots worn with putty straps, till the falklands when they knackered everyones feet, replaced shortly later with the boot combat highleg, now the danner boot with water proof goretex lining, (heaven) but atleast they beat the old hob nail boots the poor buggers trudged around in the muddy trenches ofWW2 sorry bit of a tangent i dont know the film but will try to find it so i can see what its actually about.
