welcome to the forums al i'm a film production student too! dunno if my course is any good yet either :S Hey Ryd, I forgot to tell you this but the guys I was in London with last week did that course in Stafford for the first year before moving over to Stoke for the second year - and this one is no better! Welcome to the site, Al Ghillhespy... Blackpool is like Valhalla to me. Well I suppose technically, Valhalla in Blackpool is like Valhalla to me. But I love Blackpool, it's amazing. Where else can you get a stick of rock, some assorted fudge, a comedy wig, a stainless steel Highlander replica broadsword, and a giant motorised spiked dildo all in the same shop? And on the seafront, no less! If you need any help with some short films up that end of the country, let me know. Any excuse to get back there... I've not been since August.

The horse one is called the Steeplechase. The Grand National's a more standard rollercoaster.

hello all,
Thank you for all the welcomes.
To answer the blackpool related questions... the horse ride (Steeeeeple chase) is still a the pleasure beach... people die there often.. I am not sure if there have ever been any survivors on that ride.
the grand national is a really old ride where two rollercoasters race each other. it's pretty immense. I dont remember it burning down
valhalla is the best ride in the world.
How everything going with everyone?
I'm about to start pre-production of a no-budget short film i'm making early next year... scary.
