I live in the Southwest, small village located about 20 miles from the historical city of Bath or about 35 miles from Bristol. The area is called Wiltshire and is famous for Stone Henge, Avebury stones;, Kennet Longbarrow, White horses, Canal boats, Crop Circles and UFOs.... I could go on lol ;D

I'm a born and bred Uxonian. I've lived in Uttoxeter all my life, very interesting as I have grown up around people who knew Mr. Meadows. Uttoxeter is also the birthplace of Joseph Cyril Bamford (founder of JCB) and Doctor Samuel Johnson used to live here also.

I also grew up in Uttoxeter, lived in a nearby village, have luckily escaped though and reside in sunny Stockport.....still go back quite regularly..... If you're naming famous faces from Uttoxeter then you can't forget singer/songwriter/charity worker Rockin' Jonny Austin.....his Derby County themed back catologue is the stuff of legend.... Also former Grimsby, Blackburn and Ipswich full back Gary Croft - incidentally was the first man to ever play professional football with an electronic tag on his ankle after release from prison.....

From Nott'm originally (grew up in Hyson Green and lived in Bulwell for a few years-basically, the 'posh' parts of town :-) ) How could you forget Sue Pollard KezZ? (she used to live very close to me-and was as bonkers then as she is today) Plus, Paul Smith. Have lived in a few places, including nr. Kendal, Stoke and Brum. Moved out of the city last year and now live just outside in Worcs; pretty but dull.
I did the Northern Warwickshire bike ride last year-it started at Kingsbury and went through Nuneaton at some point. Don't remember too much about the place except cycling up a big hill to a nice country park. Anyway, it didn't seem SO bad. Used to drive from Nott'm to Stoke regularly, but the only bit of Uttoxeter I ever saw was the race course!
