I have to admit that I am ridiculously Southern, my Geography above the London line is dire, albeit slightly improving since I've been at uni in the midlands (aka the North to me). Someone once told me were I to step foot in his northern home town, I'd be accosted with shouts of 'get your hair cut, you hippy/girl/fag'. This frightens me... is yours a town like that? Haha. lol, I was a 'sweaty' for a number of years (i.e. Heavy metal) so I got used to having comments shouted at me re: long hair. As to what my town is like - check this out which someone sent me... part joke, part stereotype and part fact: Hey up and sithi, owd mon - it's WIGGIN!Have to say, I had a laugh at this.  N. |

Ayup.. I'm from likl place called Swanwick a la Derbyshire.. No 1 remotely famous from here!! Although, originally come from the dump South Normanton (or Normo) also in Derbyshire...

George Formby That Moo off Corrie - Kim Ryder Roy Kinnear Stewart McConie and maybe one day - me... that's providing my career goes as planned: 1. I'm 'spotted' for my stuff on youtube and myspace! 2. I tell the NHS that they're going to be a Nurse Short (I'll do me notice proper... I'm a decent chap). 3. I get my own telly prog. on C4. 4. I shove my face in everywhere... Jonathan Ross... Richard & Judy... Loose Women... 5. I bring a book out JUST as folk are sick of the sight of me... 6. Everyone in the street calls me a 'w*nker', I hit the bottle, go for rehab and then release a story about it all in the Sunday papers. 7. Some s*d takes pity on me... and I end up doing progs. about Fly Fishing and Wine on some obscure cable channel (even though I know f*ck all about the subjects). 8. I get my own 'slot' on a radion show - 4:00 - 4:30 a.m. Sounds like a plan eh? N. |

wigan is famous fer its pier but not as much as blackpool an brighton i wouldnt imagine, has any one got any postcard photos stickin their heads through a plywood board with a fat bird in a bikini painted on the front being wooed by a burly life guard from wigan i dont think so, but would love to see em if they have.
