Hi all!
This is a long shot, but it might work?
I'm a massive fan of Shane and wondered how often he actually read his forum? I'm kind of hoping he stops by and has a read of this. I've been trying to find a way to get in touch for a long time...
I attended an advance screening of Once Upon a Time in the Midlands at Showcase Cinema in Nottingham, Shane and Rhys Ifans where there with other casts members. I also went to a special showing of Dead Man's Shoes (at Broadway Cinema, Nottingham) where Shane and Toby Kebbell did a Q & A.
Like I say, I've been trying to get in touch for a while, but shouting out in public wouldn't be that appropriate! I go to Broadway every week, if only for a beer and wouldn't want to be pointed out from the crowd! I also saw him in WagaMama in Nottingham and again, didn't fancy a face full of noodles so I didn't bother!
I'm a director of a design agency in Nottingham and wondered how to go about 'pitching' for any work associated with any new or current projects. We specialise in web design, development, accessibility and online marketing, plus the traditional design for print and identity. We'd love to get involved - obviously from a business point of view, but more importantly it'd be a dream come true!
As you've noticed, in order not to break any forum rules I've not mentioned my company name or indeed any contact information - I'll keep checking them forum to see if I get a response!
Fingers crossed!
Keep up the good work...
Ant!

Maybe you should try contacting Warp Films or someone like that first because they are currently behind Shane's newest films.

Thanks for that, the warp film's site is equally as poor from a design, techncially and accessibility point of view so will try and find a contact for their marketing department...

Dave, i think thats one of your mates taking the piss.how could it possibly be easier to access than it currently is? Could be.... but I don't think it is. I'm well aware that the site isn't the swankiest in town, but it was made by me, and I tried to make it as easy to navigate as I could. If it's because you can't find the 'contact Shane Meadows' option, then it's because there isn't one. You're not supposed to be able to. I keep forgetting that all newcomers may not realise this is just an officially endorsed fan site.... but surely they could tell just by looking at the state of the thing!

I think the above comments are a bit rude, and I'm sure other form members will agree with me. This site is ONE person's labour of love, done out of the goodness of his heart and a respect for the subject and his work.
I'm sure I speak for everyone else when I say that this site is a great resource and is fine as is.
Keep up the good work, Dave.

My only beef would be that it's too colourful - it's hard to read and post on the sly from the boss at work.......but that's my problem not yours......
Apart from that, can't fault it.......

I'm in agreement with the last couple of posts.
Plus, snazzy and all as ant's proposal could be, I don't see Shane abandoning Dave. I've heard he wants to impregnate his humble webmaster with his demon seed.

I'm sure Ant didn't mean too much by his comment I am intrigued to what his company is though. N.B the sites fantabulous.

Fuck him anyway! He's new! Kill the new! That's the spirit! Oh no.. wait.. no it isn't! Bad Mr Coyle. It's nice to see people enjoy this shitty site ( ). Antnetom! Don't worry, I'm not offended... feel free to join in! Hmmmm Paypal! An interesting idea that ;D. Having not a clue about websites (as Antnetom has pointed out ) I often wonder how you can make money from web adverts. Of course, I would have to make sure they don't over-run the site and totally ruin it! Ads for viagra and porn only will be the strict ruling!
