8-)Hello felow Shane Meadow fans, my user name is oldhamlad and I am 46 years old, an ex 70's skinhead/Mod, I went and watched the film, This is England today after seeing Shane on the South Bank Show last night, I saw the first ever showing at the Ashton Cineworld of This is England at 1-15pm, there were only a few in but Iam sure it will be packed out at night.
Absolutely loved the film, it's raw, brooding reality, the soundtrack was excellent, some good ol' Ska tunes that I have not heard for ages, although my time was a few years previous to 83, I still recognised all the film and news reels and of course the tunes.
So as you can see I can yap, and I have plenty of opinions, so hopefully will get some chat going.
Once again Shane very well done mate.
