Also, Hockley may be a good area and you can't see Selfridges it's the other side of town. Constitution Hill is nice and run down as well, probably not changed much since 1984. I think that was the road that the famous night club was on, can't remember it's name though, I shall try and think.

That's it, the Cedar Club on Constitution Hill. Owned by one of the Fewtrells I think (quite an infamous Birmingham family). Not sure when it closed though.

I may go to Snobs again one day. I've heard that it's alright. I prefer places that are a bit more earthy anyway.

there really are a disproportionate number of stockport-dwellers on this forum......I live in the posh end of stockport.... what, Brinnington? arf.great moor, near stepping hill hospital.lived on northgate rd on Edgeley about 9 years ago.also levenshulme for 10 years. |

i've cycled through brinnington a couple of times and it don't seem too bad....don't really know your end of stockport as I lived in reddish but have since upgraded to the leafy 'heatons'......go out in levenshulme the odd time, but I find there's a few too many of....you know...'them', for my liking.....

Talking of Brum, i think its allright, i mean some parts are a bit rough, but other all i think its a pretty nice place. Me and my mates allways go to Subculture at the Academy always a good night.
