Possibly the only forum where you could get to speak to cast and crew and even the man himself?

Possibly the only forum where you could get to speak to cast and crew and even the man himself? You could be right... I don't think you can even get the Chuckle Brothers to speak up on their site... if they have one. Oh... you should visit www.paddyconsidine.co.uk .... Paddy posts on the forum there you know! Welcome ye!

Thanks. Bit late but sometimes I just can't be arsed to type! Now I'm suitably lubricated, Mr.Meadows' work first came to me when 'Romeo Brass' was first screened on telly. I only watched it 'cos the guide said it was a 'rites of passage' kind of film and I'm a bit of a sucker for them, especially those from the early 80's (Gregory's Girl being a fave, as well as some of the Yank ones; 'Weird Science' anyone?) and the ones set in that era (which one I wonder?!) I enjoyed that so much I made a point of finding out who was responsible and waited eagerly for the forthcoming 'Dead Man's Shoes' to come out, mainly because it was billed as a 'Get Carter' type story which is my favouritist film of all time (sorry Mr.M!). Fucking excellent film and is now my number 2. Despite my lack of experience with skinhead culture I really enjoyed 'England' and speaking as someone who was 13 in '83 it does evoke the period very well indeed.
You still here? Well the other reason for joining this forum is I'm sick of the fucking idiots on the IMDB message boards writing complete shit! I'm sure I'll find some 'incomplete' shit here though!!!
Cheers!
