Hi, I'm sorry if my language is not so good than yours, but I'm French and all I can hardly remember of my school is 'How are you?- I'm fine thanck you'. ;D I saw Dead man's shoes at Dinard, festival of Britannic'films, and y really enjoyed it. I could explain what I felt, but in English it's hard to say. In fact this story looks like mine and my own brother, so I cried ans sware I will one day write a script for this filmmaker... Today I am here with you on that website to try to learn a little more about Shane Meadows, and make him Knows how his film change, not only my personnal vision of crime, but also of the cinema, because I'm now a young moviemaker myself. Thanks you to kept me on that website, I will try to have the better english I can (so sorry, next time I will listen teachers )

Hi Elrina,
Welcome to the website! Your English is good.. much better than our French, I think. French films are some of the best in the world..
Good luck with your film making.
Richard

:-) Both with a fantastic french actor ' Vincent Cassel'. Okay. I discovered english (and Irish and Scotish) cinema at Dinard, and it seems to can speek about every hard subject with the better word. Never falling in a totally dark or totally funny style, it have got to face. I don't know the word to said it, so I will explain, but in France, a film have a (...) It's only or fun, or action, or sad, you have some class nobody thinks to go out of that classes to see what happened. I see the Franch cinema like that, we have a lot of comédy, but nobody want to speak of dark subjects. And if they does, they made films so sad that you just want to kill you after you saw it! Movies I saw from your contry made a reflection, and we do so after see that.

Welcome Elrina!
Apologies if I've lost the plot here (I'm a bit knackered tonight), and I'm telling you something you already know, but isn't TIE's premier in Paris on or around 15/10? Also, Shane's over there this/next week doing publicity? (see 1 in 10 update).

Don't worry! A lot of people have the same problem I think Shane is in France now promoting This is England (in Paris and Dinard). If you look at the 1 in 10 update on the 'Shane Meadows Discussion' thread-'more news'- there are a few details.

okay, I did it and asked to Shane Meados, he seems to be okay. I send him a private message like he told me, I think he was so busy, it's better to him to understand my word when I write than when I speek!!!
