Alright folks, i'm a huge Shane Meadows fan and like a lot of people I only recently discovered him when his movie 'Dead Man's Shoes' was released, i've since bought all his movies. If you're reading this Shane, just wanted to say that i think that you're movies are the most refreshing thing to happen to British cinema for yonks, totally honest without the snobbery, you're up their with Ken Loach mate. Congratulations on the BAFTA. I'm a filmmaker that's just starting out. I've recently been working on doing some paid gigs for corporates and live music, i've sent my first short film into festivals but the production quality was too low to be accepted into any of them. Take a look on it on www.myspace.com/brokenglassprod it's called 'A Salesman of Death'. Let me know what you think. Cheers folks.

lol...I was just letting him know what i learned when i made my first film, I was saying not all but some trained actors pick up a load of bad habits when they leave acting school i.e. they act as if they were in theatre instead of film. It took a lot of instruction for that salesman guy to cut down the theatrics, you can see the bad habits appearing with the guy that gets hit with the baseball bat and the lassie that gets her neck cut, which is my fault but for some scenes we had very limited time. The guy that acted as the cop, that was his first time. He only very slightly faultered at the shouty bits but he was bloody great, sounded really natural. There are a load of great actors out there though.

Mind the guy that acted as the salesman is a great actor.

Seemed fine when i watched it small screen. Only happened when i put it into full. Watched it all now btw! Few comments in the appropriate thread.
I think it must be just the general crappyness of Myspace Videos, just like the rest of the site really.
