well, gavin was gracious enough to be searingly honest and also humble and self-effacing, which is why the interview ended up so well. also i have to give some credit to me mate simmo. we were sitting on the sofa and i was going through the questions with him, and it was he, being quite an accomplished guitarist (much more so than me!) who suggested asking some techy questions to gavin.

tbh it's the lovliest interview i've ever done with anyone. i'm not dissin me fellow minstrels or owt, but some of them are way up their own arses and gavin aint one of them. when i got the email with the answers back, i was knocked out. i just thought "what a guy". and i am totally in love with his music. ive never before been so dumbstruck by the work of any musician, and i've "knocked around" with a few . he's a legend. i cannot WAIT to take some pics now.
