Went to see UNKLE last nite at the Brixton Academy.... BRILLIANT!! Gav was amazing and i saw him later back stage. Got to meet James and he was really cool.... but then I met Mr Ian Brown!!! I was so star struck, but he kept goin on about the Dead Mans Shoes and tellin everyone in the dressin room i was in it, hehe, got some wicked pics of us all, ill send em dave when i get home. Mr B is sending me some addidas trainers! yipee!! We had a right laugh, he was hilarious! Mad as cheese. Loads of charisma... All in all had a wicked eve and James was really complimentary about the new video ive dne for them, he said he never recognised me at all and thought the performance was amazing!! Result baby! Have a very fuzzy head today, so off to hide in a greasy spoon! OUCH! j x

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who believes a visit to the greasy spoon is the best way to recover from the night before
Sounds like you had an awesome night - can't wait to see the video.
Theres alot of music video categories and festivals and short film festivals, if you've got clearance to enter it, I think it'd be worth giving it a go to raise the profile of the subject and the cause.

glad you had a good time jo good point sammo. ive just spent a weekend watching back to back doccos at ShAFF (sheffield adventure film festival) and whilst there were some STUNNING documentaries such as oil and water, seven winters old, 20 seconds of joy, and the cuban skateboarding crisis (which you can see here right now, 15 minutes, very inspiring): www.skatecuba.co.uk/watch.htmland, according to my partner, a documentary called hard xs-choss which won best climbing film, there were also one or two shorts which were utter toss - my point being, that is always worth submitting to film fests and going on tour and promoting your film even if its a small low budget film or music vid, because its the people who put the most effort in who get their films noticed. if you combine effort with quality of course youre really onto a winner as we all know which is why we're on this forum. actually i mentioned the cuban skateboarding crisis in an email to gavin last year when i first saw it...
