Got back from Manchester yesterday after 5 days of complete madness/joy/booze/laughter/noise and none stop shooting. It was like Smalltime (also shot in a week with a micro budget) all over again but with a Bedford Bambi camper van, the Artic Monkeys and a Unknown rapper from Nottingham called 'Scorzaysee". It really was an amazing few days and we shot about 40hrs of footage. We still have no idea quite what we have in the 'can' but after seeing 'Le Donk' and 'Scor-Zay-See' blag their way onto the stage and play in front of 30,000 people, I know we have a fantastic ending and if the rest of the material is as hilarious to watch, as it was to shoot then we may even have the makings of lo-fi feature! Please check out this cracking tune by Scorzaysee on Youtube: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1iXsuo6GhxoI will post some sneak preveiws of their gig once I get the material from the Official Film Crew but if anyone who was there has any footage on their phones etc, please post it. Seacrest out.

"Exist!"
I can only imagine the fun of a full-length lo-fi film coming from this! Imagine the press interviews where it is explained it was shot in 5 days with no script! Could launch a new wave of lo-fi features.

Shane, did you also shoot the Monkeys' gig..? Would be nice to see you work with them and produce something akin to 'A Hard Day's Night' - they certainly have the charisma/one-liners to pull it off i reckon. The last great band movie was, imho, '(Slade In) Flame'.
p.s. Did you shoot the bit where my daughter handed you a note asking for an audition for KotG and Le Donk wrote 'Suck Sammy's Log'..? Offensive as it is, we'd be quite happy for you to keep that in lol.

Just started watching rushes back. My highlight so far has to be Le Donk telling the Artic Monkeys about the time he got off with a Hermaphrodite in their dressing room! It's crude, but man it's funny.
I've got a sneaky feeling there won't be any complaints if this one gets an 18!!!

I will leak some sneaky peeks through the main page, so keep em peeled me odes.
I am also thinking about having a screening at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham once we get a decent cut and may well open the door to some of the forum posse!
