It sounds like your going completely back to basics no budget no script and just seeing what happens. Sometimes great things come from no planning and I'm sure this will be one of them.

Well, it's 'Sunday Morning, Coming Down' and i know y'all enjoyed the Monkeys gig cos i was there with y'all. BUT why oh why did one of you (Shane or Paddy, i believe) have to write 'SUCK SAMMYS' LOG' on that piece of paper and then have the tenacity to give it back to my 11-year old daughter.! Really. Actually, we both found it very funny and i don't think there could have been a better 'first ever gig' for her to go to.
If you read this Shane - she seriously wants to audition for you because, as much as she likes the Monkeys, she's grown up watching all your films from SmallTime onwards and meeting Paddy, Thomo and yerself made the day complete. She's already framed the ticket with the autographs on and she's only been up an hour lol. They certainly won't be ending up on ebay. What a lovely day - it didn't even piss it down for once.
Hope you got some useable footage of Le Donk... looked like he was having a bit of a mad epi.
p.s.Thomo's dad AKA 'Point Blank' = top fella.

Hi everyone, hi shane , i was at the monkeys lancs cricket ground this sunday and saw quite a lot of the filming going on, looks hillarious from what i saw " calm down deidre barlow!" haha also me and a mate were talkin to paddy everynow and again as we walked past the pavillion they were filming in, he also did a rap about us not sure what he was saying but shane definately filmed us for a minute as were saluting paddy haha and then we got some random copied cd from the "mc" that paddy was djing for all in all a great day hope le donk turns out well looking good!

I was pleased to see that the monkeys were showing some clips from your films on saturday, my mates didnt have a clue what they were but i put them straight and told them all about you and your films. I even told them wot they were saying in the scenes and about the actors. I was so happy when i saw those clips on the screens it totally made my day, but to now find out that you were filming there makes it that whole much better!! Look forward to seeing it however you decide to make it |
