Here's a short film I made with a mate of mine. He does all my lighting and camera work and this is a silly little film he came up with what I am in. Please take a shufty and leave comments and whathaveyou if you can be bothered. It'll only take 4 minutes of your precious:

See? Now that's canny. One of the few short films that I've actually watched with a smile on my face.

Really liked it! Great idea for a "one man and a prop" film and it looked damn good for a low-budget effort. Well-shot and well-lit. Kept me interested even though there was no dialogue, and the relationship between them actually worked. A couple of issues with it: Firstly, the music got a little repetitive. And secondly, why did that other bloke come and take the gnome, had it been delivered to the wrong house?
Very impressed with it anyway. One of the best I've seen in a long time.

Cheers for replies! Glad you like.
Fair dinks on the music, Patrick. I was pretty much making it up as I went along! Why did the gnome get taken away? Er... Perhaps it was delivered to the wrong house... or the guy was from social services or summat... maybe gnomes are contraband? I dunno. Logic not a factor in the making of this film!

Cheers Ryd, but the credit for those skills must go to my associate who wrote, directed, shot and edited this one. It's his youtube account that the film's posted on. I just pulled stupid faces and did the music.

Great stuff mate, loved it.
Shows just what you can do without having to get in a whole host of actors and exotic locations.

LOL! That was really sweet and very funny. I had a big grin all the way through and was in stitches at your facial crumple-age at the wagging finger.
Like others have said, the length was perfect and the editing nice and tight. No flab at all.
Get ye to an audition! or three.
Maybe the man took the love of your life away coz it was really a Cornish pixie, pretending to be a gnome to play a cruel trick on you. Pixies do that... ;D
