Well, it's 'Sunday Morning, Coming Down' and i know y'all enjoyed the Monkeys gig cos i was there with y'all. BUT why oh why did one of you (Shane or Paddy, i believe) have to write 'SUCK SAMMYS' LOG' on that piece of paper and then have the tenacity to give it back to my 11-year old daughter.! Really. Actually, we both found it very funny and i don't think there could have been a better 'first ever gig' for her to go to.
If you read this Shane - she seriously wants to audition for you because, as much as she likes the Monkeys, she's grown up watching all your films from SmallTime onwards and meeting Paddy, Thomo and yerself made the day complete. She's already framed the ticket with the autographs on and she's only been up an hour lol. They certainly won't be ending up on ebay. What a lovely day - it didn't even piss it down for once.
Hope you got some useable footage of Le Donk... looked like he was having a bit of a mad epi drum solo.
p.s.Thomo's dad AKA 'Point Blank' = top fella.

Oh my God... Went to LCCC on Sat, proper bangin!!! Got a vid of Shane, Paddy, Tomo & Gadget, Tomo was proper sweet... Got their autographs n lot... Did anyone else see them in the box near right hand side score board?? They must've all thought I was a bit crazy (well, quite a lot actually).. I was proper mental when I see them... Proper made my day though... Love Kim x

My young un, Billie Eve, got a couple of snaps on her fone of 'Le Donk' and his entourage but i need to Photoshop 'em as they're a bit 'dark'. I thought Paddy was very genial and delivered the most un-'film star' 'film star' behaviour i've ever seen (and i've met a few). As the Super Furry Animals say... 'The Man Don't Give A F*ck'... except for his fans. There was a lot of love around on Saturday though - despite the 2hr queueing time for booze (thank goodness i was on pop what with having to drive back to Mexborough).

So what went on on Saturday? Was it filming for this Le Donk project. Is he the DJ bloke that was loaded up on the front page of the website.

shane and paddy were filming le donk for a possible documentary,opera,sit com-who knows? the man is an absolute lunatic,but a top guy nontheless. a great time was had by all and tomo and i met some top people. everyone was really nice and tomo was more than happy to pose for photos and sign autographs. the monkeys were absolutely effin great, tomo went crowd surfing and i didnt find him for over an hour..... a top top weekend and a massive thanks to all @ warp for looking after us.......

YEAH I THINK POINT HAS SAI IT ALL REALLY EXCELNT WEEKEND ALL IN ALL I MUST APPOLOGISE TO THE SITE THOUGH I DID GET SOME CRACKIN PICTURES OFF LE DONK AND A LITTLE VIDEO OF HIM DOING HIS "THANG" HOWEVER I LOST MY PHONE. it was an excellent day out, weather stayed nice.....didn't get to see any of the filming as most of my time was spent queueing for ale......did notice the screens showing all the warp stuff between bands - including tomo with his fingers up or paddy being pulled round by that mad dog.....looking forward to seeing what comes out of your weekend's filming.........
