I never said they were. Just that they have the whole political angle-ish. Nobody's been that full-on poltically since RATM. NoFX don't count as they're whiney tossers.

nice vid! shooting people is ok for things like pitching a script by newsletters to other members, people from the industry often check out scripts and if your lucky it could get picked up. i was keen on the site when i first signed up but to be honest i never go on it now!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Salv (can't be arsed to quote) You've a good point there, I didn't think about the framing too much actually, I just made it so the sofa fitted in. I could have a go at cropping the video? Might decrease the quality a bit but i'll see how it looks.
I'd rather discuss the video than opinions on the song/band and music in general. After all i posted it for constructive criticism. As for my opinion on the band, to get things straight. I think they're alright. I enjoy their music. Not a huge fan, mostly because of all the political stuff. I've never really liked overly political music. Most music I enjoy because of the way it sounds, not because what the songs are about. If I find out I like the meaning of a song its a bonus! Anyway lets end that convo now. To be straight i'm not a System or Rage bummer. I chose the track simply because of the idea.
Shooting People is good I guess. I haven't gained that much out of it yet really. Theres not that many films on there so it increase the likelihood of yours being seen. Although mine don't seem to have many hits yet! It all looks very nice too. But i can't really say its been worth the money. Yet. Only paid 15 quid after all as i got a special offer.

Its cool mate, I know you are serious about filmmaking and I also know you have talent, so I think its good to point these things out. I think its the difference between something that looks professional and something that looks studenty. I'd leave the video as is mate, no point ruining with cropping etc but next time have a think about everything that is in the frame. Look through the lense and ask yourself the questions; should this be in the frame? and why? If you cant answer these then get it out of there.

Nobody gives a fuck what you think about music if its negative... They do if they agree. You didnt say it to someone who agree's, and said it out of a one on one conversation leading many people to read it.

Nah usually when you say "I dont like that system of a down do you?" to someone you pretty much know they wont otherwise you wouldnt say it, if you did know they liked them you wouldnt really say it would you "your taste in music is shit get a knew one!" but thats what you did here.

Ha! That was really good. I only realised about a third of the way through what you guys were doing with the objects. Are they the lyrics to the song or have deliberately misinterpreted the words for comic and visual effect? [Edit: And does that question make me sound like an old duffer? It does doesn't it? Pah!]

Pah!] Ha ha. Thanks for the feedback. It's a valid question! The objects all represent the actual lyrics. Watch it again and you might see more! I had always hoped that the video would provoke repeat viewings to see what all the objects/lyrics were. Some may have missed what the object for "We" was.
