Fuckinell Wiggy mate that looks sweet as! Is it set in Blackburn? It looks a big step up from the other stuff you've done (if im not mistaken). Good stuuf, keep us posted bud.
yes it is set in and around blacburn, it is a million times better than anything i've done before the reason being, better equipment and a crew, we have a d.p and also we are getting our post production done at sumners in manchester. oh and it's took 2 years to do the principal photography!
Whoa! Looks aweosme mate. Quality of the footage is outstanding. Is is shot in HD? How much did the adapter cost?! My mate is looking in to getting one. Don't you have to import them form america?
If you did shoot in HD how tough is the edit with it? I've heard bad things thats all.
Really looking forward to the film mate. Do you have a distribution deal already? Have you been funded?
we didn't have any funding at all, it was all made with gear we have aqquired and the actors and crew are all working to a deferred payment contract, we haven't a deal sorted as of yet but a lot of interest. the m2 adapter costs about a grand i think and it films the image upside down so it needs flipping in post, i think the letus flip is supposed to be a better option as it doesn't have as much light loss, they cost about £600 and from germany i think. the footage is shot in hd pro res and is very easy to work with, on a mac especially in final cut. i really think the film will be something special as the stuff we have filmed is very funny, when it has been professionaly graded the footage will look miles better and we're lucky because a post production company in manchester are doing all that for us. i have also filmed about 40 hours of behind the scenes stuff on a sony hvrv1e which records in hdv, i have found no difference editing that compared to dv. glad you liked it by the way and cheers for looking, we will hopefully have a proper trailer ready soon
It's looking good man. Been waiting on this for a while, but it's looking sharp. I would suggest that you contact a sales agent now or even the distributors that will be most likely to take it on (Guerilla Films is a good start).
bloody bloody hell wiggy i just seen your Rail fiction over on you tube I'm bloody very impressed with some of the effects. awesome effects. want a job over on Stagger.
