Hey guys. This isn't one of mine, but it's from Dave Lankester. I know he posts on here from time to time, but I thought this was too good to wait and bring to your attention. It just won the Britfilms 24 Hour Film Challenge for May - so check it out here: www.britfilms.tv/index.php?id=5432&size=highI met the guys through the (sadly defunct) Five Lamps Film nights, and they are a seriously talented bunch. After getting robbed on Tomt and I, it's good to see a little victory for their work. Dave, Joe, Dal and Daz - top work. Now get a feature in the can! Ha ha. Tom.

cheers tom. i was going to wait till britfilms fix the aspect ratio to its proper 16:9 but your right, its to good to hold back. i'm very proud of this since it my 72 year old fathers debut. the little piece has a lot of sentimentality to it and helped heal some wounds. (i dont mean that to sound so pompous but its true) it was originally intended for last xmas but my old man looked like he was on his way out so im just glad we got to do it together. daz dal and joe were phenomenal on this. team tomt was on overdrive that day. i think we have to do one more 3min to finish of a sort of trilogy and then we have that feature to tackle. but until then, "all i've taught you is technique. if you carry on it's your choice, and your choice only. whether it was all i could teach you or not... "

Great film. Well thought out framing, and super narration. Not surprised it won.

Violence doesn't half to be shown. Just implied. It may have benefited from that.
