Hope the haircuts come back - I'll be fashionable at last!

Here - I can't be doing all that stuff... can't afford Ben Sherman or Fred Perry - it's 'George at Asda' for me! N.

Couldn't believe it t'other night. Wife had 'Emmerdale' on, and I thought: 'I know that voice'. Now I keep lapsing into Woody-isms. Incidentally, I thought I might wear my Tank-Top, but it has somehow shrunk I fear, doesn't fit me anyway!

I've found myself telling anyone who's dressed remotely like a hippy that 'Woodstock's that way mate.....'

haha me and my mate always recite Combo's lines.
Whenever one of us is angry (or pretend to be) we put our arms behind our heads like Combo does before he flips on Milky!
We always go "got any weeeed man!" as well lol

Hey All,
A huge hello, I only watched THIS IS ENGLAND the other night,
I'm not really a telly or movie kinda guy,
But this had me transfixed through out the whole film,
I was born in 1970 so could relate to these kids and the music,
The bit that really made me laugh was the visit to the shoe shop..
As a kid of about 9 or 10 years old Skinhead haircuts and DM's
were all the rage and of course I was in!
My step father of the time took my brother and I to the Doc Martin shop..
Rows and rows of shiny boots and more eyelets than you have ever seen..
This was it the day I got my first DM's,,
But just like the movie this was not to be,
from a combination of a skint step dad and some sales talk we
Where suddenly the proud owner of ...wait for it ..
SARGENT "FU*CKING" PEPPERS!!
Anyone in the know will tell you they are a boot that resembles
the DM, But have a sole that is about 2" tall,
(This Kinda made you look like Elton john in the pinball wizard)
It honestly wasn't a good look and we even tried cutting the
soles down after standing taller than everyone else in assembly,
This was a funny time of life and a good one,
the film I feel captured this magnificently!
I really could bleat on but I shall come back another day.
Thanks Shane that was Class and I had to let you know!
