Hey all.
I'm producing a low budget short film at the moment, and we've just met the most amazing location manager, who wants to work with us for a credit in the film. Which is absolutley fine.
She also asked for a credit on paper - which I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I have never come across this before. By all means I want to credit her any which way she likes - but I'd preferably like to research this without having to ask her what exactly that entails....
If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks all.

i would imagine something down on letter headed paper from your production company so that she could add it to her CV, only a guess mind!

She's referring to a credit block - the full credit information that you see on the bottom of film posters and all the press kit stuff.
For example, this is the Icharus Broken credit block:
BRING IT GIVE IT FILMS presents LUCY GARNER, CHARLOTTE HUNTER, MICHAEL KEOGH, TOM SAWYER, LIS SHAHLAVI, PHILIP CLAYTON SMITH, CASSANDRA WILLIAMSON and TOM WILTON in a TOM WILTON film ‘ICHARUS BROKEN’ Produced by TOM WILTON and PHILIP WEST for GREENACRE PRODUCTIONS Associate Producer WILLIAM GROSSMAN Screenplay by TOM WILTON Featuring Original Music from BELLY OF THE WHALE Directed by TOM WILTON
It's literally just something that is an easy thing to refer to for her and if people see the film and they want to see who did what, the info is there. Very straightforward and obviously, no biggie for you to arrange.
Cheers - Tom.

I have nothing to add. But it does bring a tear to my eye to see all this helpful info being exchanged between film-makers. A happy tear. ;D I'm so glad I had the idea of putting a film maker's section on the forum from the very beginning.
