;D my first payed job! went to EDINBURGH on the 22nd and three weeks of editing and painful encoding later and its done! the sounds slightly out of sync which I'm abit baffled/ gutted about, (it happened at shooting peoples end when they encoded it) and theres alot I've learned to do better next time but over all I'm pretty happy with it the track its cut to is The Step and the walk by The Duke Spirit, their album neptunes definatly worth checking out and their unreal live! the lead singer Liela Moss is fucking amazing!!! let me know what you's think, just try and look passed the fact its alittle out of sync! shootingpeople.org/watch/film.php?film_id=51233also on youtube now

excellent ;D couldn't tell about the sync issues! loved the tune, really good and i thought your footage of the gig was superb, what cam did you use, i'm guessing hvx 200! my sony v1 can't film in strobe light conditions as i get a rolling shutter effect which makes the footage useless well done, you should film more gigs

thans alot man!! nah it was shot on a z1, just had to fuck around with the aperture abit.
I'm actually gonna try and approach the duke spirit about shooting a video for them because none of their videos captures what their like live, the lead singer even told me on the night she hated all their music vids, she looks like she's got a ball and chain around her ankle in most of them compared to how she throws herself about on stage
its just who to approach: the record label, the manager or the band??? or all of them

Kind of. More of an observation He wouldn't let it lie! Just watched it and thought it was top-notch! If I am allowed to make a comment, I thought that perhaps some of the early zooms and cuts could maybe have been faster? Just a thought, and that's from someone who knows almost nothing about this stuff! haha
