Living in Somers Town we enjoyed watching the film being made. We talked to some of the production team at the time about our campaign for a local development on the empty land behind the British Library that features in the film.
We want housing and facilities especially for young people who have little to do but hang out on the street. We are launching a project for young people to have a say in what they believe would improve the area at the large Somers Town Community Festival on 12 July.
I see that the film is showing on 06 July - I've just sent a link to all the tenants associations and people that we know in the area. We would love to be able to show the film in Somers Town eg in the local school. We could get a different kind of audience that might not otherwise see the film and it would spark a very intersting debate. It would also be fantastic if Shane or Tomo or Piotr were free to introduce the film at a local showing, or even to attend the festival on 12 July?!
If you don't ask you don't get - we hope you understand the impact you would have if any of this could be achieved!
It would be great to hear from you (we did write to tomboy films but didn't get a reply). Good luck with the film.

Hi Candy. I will pass on your email address to the producer and make sure he knows about this. I can't promise anything but I will at least let them know I would like it to happen as we always intended to screen it to locals.
