this is the first film i was involved with i wrote the script, did some camerawork and editing (and directing)
Synopsis -
2 burglars who are on a small crime spree, decide to rob one last house. Unknown to them, the house belongs to a vicious serial killer, who traps them inside.
let me know what u think! im not expecting awards or anything just thought id share!! ;D
the ADR and foley is completely out of sync in some places which annoys me when i watch it, but oh well!
theres also a song after the film that Paul made using quotes from the film (Paul is the dead body in the bathtub)

Right then what can I say......... ;D
I've seen quite a lot of shite lately on the short film front so this was so refreshing to see some talent. For your first film stand up and take a bow as it was bloody good Andrew.
Nice use of shots, tripod and moving camera, I like. The way you switch between colour and black and white, I like The twist at the end, brilliant. Acting, pretty good, like the use of the Eastern european characters.
Ok I agree there were some out of sync places but you have obviously taken note of this and will work on this more on your next film.
Brilliant first film, well done mate and look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

I concur! It was top-notch!
After watching it, I could just imagine the same idea being made really badly because it has the usual elements of an amateur film... crime and gore! ;D But you pulled it off brilliantly so it didn't feel 'studenty' or lame.
I loved the rolling camera footage of them legging it!

Good stuff ;D My fav shot was the bathroom door opening and the thief not seeing the blood scene, that was great. One thing though, this shot could have had even more of an impact if you didn't show us previous shots of the said scene, but that's just my opinion mate, and I'm no professional Well done!

Really nice... some really clever film-making in there mate! Certainly doesn't look like a first film. Very good indeed. Really enjoyed it.
