I've not seen any of Shane's films dubbed in another language before.... but now I have!
Strange that the text quotes are still English, but other than that, it looks like a pretty good job.
Why do you think there is a dubbed version of this film though. I would only have imagined subtitles for such an indie Brit film. I guess they are trying to play up to the less discerning audience who won't bother with subtitles, but want to see the Brit film that has that bloke with a gas-mask and an axe in!

I've seen and heard worse. My dad bought a load of Kung Fu Legends DVDs. They were dubbed and subtitled. As a result, neither synched up with the others. I can't possibly comprehend why they'd have subtitles and dubbing on the same disc.
Unless they dubbed it so badly the subtitles acted as a Plan B for any words that didn't make sense.

I had a German friend who told me that in his country they dub everything. Apparently German audiences will not watch English language films. The actors who do the dubbing are pretty big stars in Germany too (that goes for dubbing actors across the World, Salv's fact of the day)

I just made a thread today asking if any of Shane's films had been dubbed for countries, i know it would ruin them but i would love to hear what a german speaking Morrel sounded like, if for only comedic value.
