Ok, so here is the crack. In my gap year I want to take my film making skills and try to make a decent length version of 'Three Tears For Jimmy Prophet'. It keeps the same structure with the accidental death and fight for his daughter but obviously I have had to apply some other factors into the story to keep it afloat.
I WOULD NEVER try to prophet of this idea as it is ultimately Shane's. It would simply be a fun project for me to do.
What are your opinions on this, reckon with about a years solid planning it could work?
I shall try to upload my overall story/ plot soon.

was midlands not suposed to be this??? I think Midlands began life as this, but then deviated somewhat. When I was first cobbling the site together I remember finding out that the early versions of Midlands were called Standing Eight Count, and was more about a boxer accidentally killing someone, going to prison, then coming back to town. Not much room for laughs in that one, but then was probably not the point at that stage! haha

That sounds a very good story, i would of liked to see that, i think the short was very well acted by Paddy, pulling the viewer in to emphasize with the character and yet shot so simply, that i wished id of had that idea.
Just goes to show that words, describing what happened emotionally have just as much impact as just filming i fight scene, Shane you are a genius!!
new york doll, how is your project coming along?
