What I am talking about is the EXTRAS link I have on the front page of the site. There isn't much in that section.. and what there is is quite out of date, or now listed in a relevant section (eg MEDIA).
Anyway, what could go in that section do you think?
The one idea I had was to have a nice link to Thribb's location hunting photos! There were also a few other people who have done some location hunting, so I can include their links too (let me know who you are).
More ideas please.

I just had another idea...
A little section listing any slightly rare items relating to Shane and his films... for this I am mostly thinking of the CDs and DVDs Shane did for the Shane Idol competition we had. With photos of course. Primarily just to make people jealous I guess! ;D
Nobody got any other ideas then?

Um, dunno, but will think about it. I suppose the locations feature could be expanded a bit to give a few details of areas where the films were shot. Eg: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Ann%27s,_Nottingham . Seems legitimate given than locality is actually quite important to Shane's films. I also thought that maybe a few people on site could maybe write short (no more than 1000 word) essays/reviews on/of Shane's films. Not in the serious 'critics' mode, more personal responses from fans, but these might be a bit more thoughtful than our usual brief and immediate response blogs? You (Dave, or you and other moderators) might then select a few of the better ones and post them up there? On the other hand given that getting these 'Maniacs' to produce 5 mins of commentary (shame) has been like pulling teeth, maybe not...... |

The DVD artwork idea could be good... I remember finding quite a few different DVD covers on the internet when I first made the site.
Adding locations to the photo idea could be good too.... how does Google Maps work anyway? I've seen it used on a few sites where they have it displaying points of interest to their website only.
Too many ideas now. When am I going to do any of them!? ;D

With regards to mapping the location of location hunting photos.... well, I just noticed that Thribb has already done this on his Flickr account! The man is a genius! ;D
