Have you turned your hearing aid on mate? I had a quick look at the first one, and I too was having great difficulty hearing what was being said. I had to give up. The music is too loud. I like watching stuff like this... so I may give it another shot when I'm not in such a noisy environment (I tried to watch it at work.. in a projection room).

Chill fella if you post something up you have to take a bit of critiscism and learn from it. No good people bullshitting each other and just saying everything is great, trust me I've had criticism and I've also had praise.
The truth is the quality of your stuff was unwatchable and the sound you couldnt hear anything. Its just a fact dont take it personally.
My advice from when I was starting off, go get yourself a cheap Sony handycam from ebay, make sure it has a firewire for best results and knock out your film on that, you can get one cheap, the quality and sound will be great for what you want at this level and you can have loads of fun ;D

I'm with Dazza here. If the production level is so bad as to be unwatchable, what do you expect? Nobody's asking for a crew of fifteen and a zinger of a soundtrack. We're just saying that you can't get to the ideas of the films. That's not being mean, it's being honest.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like it was made on a mobile phone. I hate watching that kind of stuff, especially when you can pick up a decent, box fresh MP4 video camera for around £80 that would boost your stuff beyond belief.
The thing is, since DVD's became dirt cheap, YouTube sprang to life and all mobiles started coming with cameras, everyone and their dog thinks they can make films. And whilst that's not a bad thing, if there's no story to be told, it doesn't, for my money, count as much more than 'larking about.'
Rather then getting all bent out of shape, take it on the chin and get back to making something better. We've all had to do that.
If you want a pat on the back for turning a camera on and pointing it at something random and then adding titles, well done. Happy?
If you want the same for shooting a film of any length/form, well, make one.
EDIT (after being moved to the correct thread):
The bunny one was like Jackass - decent idea, but still too low grade quality-wise. And the actual chips one, see above.

what about the others, bunny goes ballistic and feeding the seagulls. The bunny one is quite a cool little sketch. The seagull one is a bit weird. haha. For some reason I enjoyed the bizarre inclusion of a copyright sign after the title "Feeding the Seagulls". Here's some advice from me (and that's someone who has no idea what he's on about! ;D ).... Try to play to the strengths of your equipment! A good example would be the bunny one. Because you are filming on a camera phone, instead of filming it as a straight sketch, you could try and make it appear to be more like a real incident perhaps. You could start off the scene filming something entirely different.... and then perhaps you catch the bunny action off in the distance. You then approach the situation as you would if it was really happening (ie trying to film it without making your camera obvious to those involved in the scuffle). By doing that, you should get some natural looking camera work as the action is briefly obscured by a jacket or a hand etc, as it would if you were trying to secretly record something for real. This way it could be a satisfying result to get comments on YouTube from people who think it is real. I've made some blatantly fake stuff before, and no matter how obvious it seems to you, there's always some mug who falls for it. Never under-estimated how imperceptive many people are!

What a neat approach Dave, I like that as an idea. You should give this a shot, I think.
