I was really chuffed to see a good sized queue today at HMV in Nottingham, and what a mixed bunch too!

Hi to Wigwam .. nearly shouted out .. "Ehh hullo Wigwam!" but then thought better of it - *chuckle* Ted - I didn't see anyone with a pixelated face ! Tsk.

With my Small Time cover clutched in my sweaty mitts, it took about half an hour of patient (and I have to say, very well behaved queuing) till I got to the front.

Many thanks to "Milky" and "Lol" - (cheers to my daughter who piped up "You look loads different" to Lol; she meant in a good way!)

As for Shane ... a honour to shake your hand ... (and you made me blush, much to my daughter's delight!)

I've not seen This Is England yet .. a good excuse though, as I've not long since had spinal surgery and was unable to sit down for a long time or indeed, walk .... so, I have the wine chilling, Mike's going to cook something nice for dinner, and then we're going to have a film fest !

I'm still digesting the film .. we watched it on Monday night and I watched it again last night ... such a bloody good film, and there is so much in the film to think abouit.

*SPOILER*
One point though .. did anyone else feel sorry for Combo during the scene pre. beating up Milky? Oh god, I could have cried for him; listening to Milky's happy and loving talk of his family when it was obvious that Combo had had nothing like that ..

Yeah saw it at the pictures and brought my copy in a 24 hour tesco, its great to see shanes got proper distribution i had to order 24 / 7 back in the day co' it was a bit of a pain to get good to see the progression on decent british film!

I haven't bought it yet. But I'm popping to Tesco tomorrow to buy the new Kanye West album so will buy it then.
I've been too busy working up till this point.
