Finally got our old animations off vhs, on to disc and cleaned them up a little using the windows movie maker. These were made back in the day on a Commodore Amiga using a program called deluxe paint, dated now i know but have enjoyed cleaning them up, adding titles and credits, brought back good memories and sparked my interest in making more. This is the link to The Martial Arts Collection uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2n_nXUAa7CQIll link them all in here when on

Genius.
Delux Paint, you made these in the mid 80's and you still have them, that's impressive. ;D
Made me laugh, nice one!

Around the mid 90's we started making them Barryo, think it was about deluxe paint 4 we was using. Spoke to a few people who used the program also, and someone said they still use it now! Heres WWF this is one of my favorites uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bcJOupzZ-_Q

I'm looking forward to more already! haha Most of those genuinely cracked me up..... The expletive ridden endings to a few of those was top quality! The Pub and Jeff-Ree & George for example. I think The Pub is my favourite, if only for the ending! hahaha
Some of the 'art' style reminds me of the very early Beavis and Buttheads.
The fact they are so short and have frequent and fast cuts makes them work really well. I don't think I could sit through anything much longer than a couple of minutes.
The leg-work in the Kung-Fu ones was proper ace! Cracked me right up!

Thanks Dave, the pub one is a classic, makes me laugh when the *SPOILER* bog-eyed paramedic comes in the pub and says "What the fucking hell has happened here?" in a deadpan fashion. Shame though we lost a scene out of it, was damaged on the tape but just after the landlord says "Erm it was him over there, the bastard" it showed the police walking in, cuffing him from behind, then the guy back-head butting the police man, busting his nose open, so then the whole pub give the man a good kicking, then returns to him being put in the van. Dont think it can be restored though, unless anyone knows?
Dave are you bluecrayon on youtube?

I actually thought they were pretty good as well. Sometimes I prefer this kind of animation rather than the fantastic pixar stuff. Keep it up fella some good ideas there.
Yes Dave is Bluecrayon on Youtube buddy

As DazzaB has already confirmed, I am BlueCrayon77 on YouTube.
I guess you were wondering who the mystery admirer was commenting on most of your animations! haha
Oh yeah.... in the one where the guy is watching the TV, the bit where he switches over and it's snooker. Well the snooker on the TV reminded so much of Beavis & Butthead.... the way we just see a totally shit and bland shot of the cue ball missing everything. Brilliant. Really gets across the pointlessness of just watching shite on telly, which was obviously a major part of Beavis & Butthead too.

I thought it was Dave, thank you for the comments, had a look at your Shane Meadows Videos, were very good not seen some of them before. Had a quick look at the link Gareth, looks a good program, kinda reminds me of a game a used to play were you was a hollywood studio making films and you could make short little movies with pre rendered graphics, the name has gone from my head now.
