I write myself and everyone says the best way to learn to write is to read, but all there seems to be on the net is hollywood blockbusters and I'm yet to find any screenplays for decent british films
I know the room for romeo brass scripts for sale but is it a shooting script or just a transcript type thing of the film? anyone read it?
I can't find shanes scripts anywhere on the net and I'd be fascinated to have a look at them, it would be absolutly amazing to see several drafts of each script and especially the original treatments etc...
I don't know who owns the writes to the script once the films produced? anyone any Idea of how I could get hold of any of shane/Frasers work?

You can buy the scripts to Romeo Brass, 24/7 and Smalltime (the latter two in the same book)... Don't know about online. I'm also not sure if they're just transcripts. I've got the 24/7 and Smalltime one knocking about somewhere, unless I took it back to the library. Never seen the Romeo one.

I remember getting a free copy of 24/7 with an issue of sight and sound a good few years back

I got the 24/7 + Smalltime (Left) screenplay book free with the 24/7 VHS when it was released in HMV! That was in the olden days.

What's a VHS, Dave? Is it a soundtrack?

yeah I've just managed to get 24/7 from amazon, I'll get Romeo Brass in a few weeks but 50quid takes the piss! as for Deadmans shoes the comics suposed to be quite close to the treatment or shooting script isnt it?
what I really want is a few drafts of the scripts to follow how the screenplays evolved through the workshops etc. think It'd be a good insight into Shanes process
