Wow, looks great! Is this based on a true story? Just curious.

Hi Jill no its not based on a true story. I wrote the story then did a lot of research and then spoke with various guys who had suffered PTS to make sure I had things right I also discussed the project with women of domestic abuse to make sure everything could be as close to real life as possible.

Looks brilliant! Not sure if you've mentioned before, but does this film reflect something that has effected your own life... or you have witnessed? I heard a great podcast documentary about this kind of thing about a year ago. About the hidden impact that active duty has on those that return to civilian life and is not really addressed by the military. Agree with the comments that it was a bit 'Meadowsian'... but that can only be a compliment! Was that the This Is England score on that trailer? Also.. what was that mic you bought a while ago... you found a cool site with a reasonably priced bit of kit... and going by that trailer it works rather well! Sorry Dave just noticed your questions The mic I bought a while ago that you mention was the Rode Video Mic think it was about £59 and its not bad, however the mic used in this film was a Rode NTG-2 a great broadcast quality mic and much better and only £155. Yea the trailer music is Fuori Dal Mondo by Ludovico Einaudi from this is England. I love the song and it helped me with my creatively on the shoot this week and it was only fitting to go with the trailer, it wont be used in the actual film as I have a deal with various artists who are working on the music but I did email Ludovico on the off chance he might put something together as if you dont ask you dont get ;D

Hey DazzaB,
Wow, this trailer feels really different to the earlier one, I think. Is the whole film black and white now?
Hope the editing and post production stuff is going well?
Really looking forward to seeing the finished product anyway!
