Shane Meadows and his choice of institutions

Ok, so I have nearly finished my essay but I need to write about the film institutions Shane works with. Has he had an opportunity to release a film under some Hollywood thing like 20th Century or Paramount or not?

I know he uses Big Arty and smaller, less iconic institutions such as Optimum Home but why does he stick with these when he now has possible potential to attract bigger US institutes?

Is it because he feels more free under these smaller institutes and not confined to a film which 20th Century want rather than what he wants?
