This is a surprisingly tough question actually.
I think the best way to answer it is to imagine that I didn't know that Shane had any involvement in them.
So, if Shane hadn't directed them, I think I would still find them quite good fun. They remind me of Peter Kay's kind of material... "put big-light on" and "t'internet", etc. Mainly because they are based around Dad catchphrases in some respect. Not that all Dads say such one liners, but every Dad does have his catchphrases!
I'm not sure that I would really notice the ads on TV though. Very rarely now do I engage with any adverts on TV at all, I just switch off... or run off to the lav!
However, when the ad with Andrew Shim appeared I would probably have taken notice! I've not seen it yet though.

i thought you were very good in it georgie, it's a funny little ad for what is essentially the government nagging at you to switch stuff off....better than most ads you see which tend to be quite mindless...
who's the lady who plays the mum...? it's been bugging me for days as to whether i know her off the tv or in real life..?

Hey. To answer your question billy, you have probably seen her in hollyoaks. She played the role of Jemma Atkinson's mum. Her name is Katherine Dow Blyton, and I love her to bits, she is my surrogate mother! Any other questions feel free to ask Georgie... x |

yeah pretty funny advert, I'd spoke about it with a few of my mates when we were on about shane and they all remembered the adverts when I said about the blackpool illuminations bit, so that must mean their working!
