I chose to do Shane Meadows for my A-Level film coursework, I have really struggled with what type of question to do and where to go with all the research i had, but i've decided on this...
Shane Meadows makes his films steeped in social realism, and builds on his own personal experiences. However does his style conform to the idea of him having an auteur status?
Just wondering if anyone would be able to help me answer this because you're all full of Shane Meadows knowledge.

surely you already know the answer to this question, if I were you I'd pick a different question, I cant think of any reason why shane wouldn't be considered an auteur, in fact I cant think of (m)any film makers more deserving of the term auteur
to right an essay you need to give each side of the argument equal attention, I think thats impossible with this question.
make sure to check out the Education and Study Discussion section of the forum, I'm sure this auteur stuffs came up before

Hello lml... I just moved your message into this Education and Study section.
Take a good look around this section and I think you'll find other threads tackling similar ideas for essays, etc.
