A Man Alone, Directed by Graeme McCormick and shot by Ian Marrs. I did a bit of work in helping during shooting and some post-production effects work (and a bleach bypass). Download is approx 46MB and is 6 minutes long. Some of the encode hasn't turned out very well, it's all a bit pixely, but watchable - www.yousendit.com/download/Y2o5d0VFdkdOQnhFQlE9PQAny feedback much appreciated.

Oooooh, the monologue started off on ropey ground but kinda picked up nicely. Not bad, considering I've just watched Patton and am in a very pro-war mood, at the minute. The battle scene didn't exactly convince but when you've got a bit of purple haze, you might as well use it.
Not bad at all, despite the lack of rabid screaming after he lost his fingers.

Hey, that's a pretty good film there. Very well written and delivered monologue. Some good shots, the handheld stuff worked nicely. Reminded me a little of the Full Metal Jacket sniper scene. Perhaps because I only saw it the other day! But, it has similarities with the voice over and all. Yeah, it works. I felt shocked, and saddened by the theme of the film. Only criticism is it was a little samey... with all the wood bits. A nice refreshing end though.
