Hey, need some help/advice
I want to get some edited footage off my mac, I'm using final Cut pro. Normally I would use the record function on through the cameras touch screen menu but the touch screen is knackered! Is there anyway through final cut that will make the camera go into record. Pressing the big red record button on the camera does not work. Any help appretiated, I'm panicing as the dead line for this footage is the 30th and I dont know anyone with a DV can with "DV in" feature
Thanks Gary ;D

Heya, What version of final cut you using? First of all you need to make sure that Final Cut is set to be exporting to the camera via firewire. If it already is.. then you'll see everything that coems up on the canvas, on the screen of your camera as well. If you don't then go to View... or something like that then external device, then select Firewire DV. THEN go to file>print to video. Set the settings, how much black you want and stuff, and then start it. It'll take up your whole screen so you wont be able to do anything else. It will start the recording on the camera for you. Sorted.
