I've spoke about this video many times on the forum. I've had it for ages and only recently have i bothered to get it all uploaded onto the web. Its pretty long so i've had to split it into 6 separate videos so i could get 'em up on youtube. Its a video of when Shane came to visit my college (i was studying there at the time) at the time i had only seen 24/7 (i bought it and watched in preparation for the interview) Of course i loved the film, so was looking forward to his visit. He showed us 5 of his short films; Gary Wilkinson (touching short about a rather old paper boy played by Paddy, who wishes to do a run for charity) Three Tears For Jimmy Prophet, Macca's Men, Northern Soul, and King Of The Gypsies (Doco on Bartly Gorman, I assume its the longer of the two he made.) He was then interviewed by my teacher Tom Woodcock and some questions from the class. He spoke about making shorts, his experiences with Once Upon A Time In The Midlands, the origins and production of Dead Man's Shoes (which was about to be released theatrically), His influences, his attitude to filmmaking, Info on wanting to make King Of The Gypsies, and much more! So after much delay, i present to you an excellent shane meadows interview. The videos are rather quiet, so turn your speakers up and listen in! Part 1: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HHhJezduqVUPart 2: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MrArWuEj1p8Part 3: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BtyDrep5DrEPart 4: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-IJepcd1eM4Part 5: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=o1Nshj7p4DgPart 6: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OMnV39YmnY8

Wow! Incredable! Thanks for posting.
He's so deep. It's fantastic. No wonder his films press so many of my buttons.
Thanks again.

I ask a stupid question in one of these videos. The answer to which was pretty much "NO" but Shane was kind enough to elaborate.

Thanks for putting these up - I sat and watched them all.
He was very generous and open and whats more - how lucky was your sixth form to have someone like that come in and talk to you?
When I was at sixth form we got someone who had once worked as a camera man on the Bill come in and talk to us and that was it!
Fascinating especially the stuff on Once upon a time. He said one tiny thing I didn't really agree with but I could have listened to him talk all day.
