Congratulations to all involved! I might be shot, burnt at the stake, hung drawn and quartered for this but as much as i loved Somers Town i'd like to see In Bruges clean up at this years BIFA's i thought it was amazing. (Does Martin McDonagh have a forum mmmm??)

I just wanted to wish everyone involved in Somers Town good luck for the BIFA's, im rooting for you all. Its so great and there is amazing competition again this year, its such a brill acheivment to be in this company. Well done.

perhaps a good thing tomo won eff all the little spudnik was drunk by half seven,no just kidding a good night was had by all,i saw fassbender in hunger and it was an incredible performance much deserved. heard the kid who won newcomer is good aswell but not seen the film yet........baftas it is then

Somers Town deserved best film... or Shane best Director. Slumdog Millionaire is good but didn't deserve both of those.

Michael Fassbender, well deserved... excellent performance. Glad Man on Wire, and Waltz won.

Shame Somers Town didn't take anything. It's been a good year for Brit films.I thought it could have taken at least one.

IMHO Happy-go-lucky can't win enough awards but if I'm honest they probably took awards in the wrong categories.

Slumdog Millionaire must be pretty good to have taken the top prize plus it's been recognised in the Golden Globules.
