I watched TIE on monday like most people should have dun!!!! And again iv noticed how totally amazing Rosamund (Smell) is! who else finks tht she is totaly amazing?? god i sound freaky right now!! lol thank you Rosa  |

And again iv noticed how totally amazing Rosamund (Smell) is! I agree wrighty35. There's a depth and naturalness in her work and I'd love to see her perform in something else. I hope by now she's got an agent and is trying to get more work because she's got something very unusual, although it all depends whether she wants to seriously pursue a career as an actress. I really hope she does, but everyone has to follow their own path and not everyone wants to live their life in the public eye (which unfortunately, acting involves.) I just found out that it was JD Salinger's 90th birthday on New Year's Day. He's continued his writing in private ever since he became a recluse, decades ago. According to Xan Brooks, the Guardian's film writer, "Salinger continues to write, apparently. He is rumoured to have produced hundreds of short stories, and perhaps scores of novels over the past however-many decades. The difference is that these are manuscripts written for his own pleasure, with the door closed and with no outside pressure; like a child playing alone in his room." I can totally relate to this, personally, and am really looking forward to the day when I can become a recluse too and just say four xs to the world, and I'm sure there must be scores of talented actors and actresses out there who feel the same. Not saying Rosamund is one of them, I've no idea, but I do understand it when early talent is sometimes withdrawn from the public. |
