Hi all... First of all I just wanna say i'm a big fan of film, both mainstream and independant... with appreciation of european and asian films aswell as British.
Also enjoy writing short stories aswell as having a taste for a variety of music (ranging from jazz to psychedelic trance)...
I'm a full time student doing music tech and sound design and hope to eventually get work in either journalism or sound design (for maybe computer games or film).
Bit of a traveller too, having explored the sub-continent of India a few years ago aswell as enjoying a road trip across Europe... I one day hope to write about my experiences, but for now i'm very busy with work...
Love Shane's films, I think he has a very good way of looking at family and friendship and creating a very grey area between morals and meaning.
I loved Room for Romeo Brass (I watched it in India when i was suffering from a rather explosive case of Delhi belly and it really cured me of my home sickness too).
Dead mans shoes is spectacular in its delivery... So gritty and melancholic, it even drops the barriers between the audience and the characters, as even the 'bad' lads are delivered with a very human side.... (nobody is truly evil, we basically live for our own ideals etc)...
So, yeah that's me...
