Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and just love Shane and Paddy's stuff! I am, however, American, which can make it hard to find their stuff sometimes. I also cannot wait to see Le Donk! Are there any updates on it thus far? Also, I want to get the DVD of A Room for Romeo Brass, but I want to make sure I get the commentary on it. Is the commentary on every version of the DVD? I know I bought the Region 1 version of Dead Man's Shoes only to find no Northern Soul on it. That's okay though, the film is still BRILLIANT!
Thanks for your time! -Sara

Welcome aboard, Sara! The Romeo Brass Region 2 DVD, whether you buy it by itself or as part of the This Is Shane Meadows box set, does indeed come with a commentary track by Shane and Paddy. (I've listened to it.)

Oh, that's fantastic news! I was considering the boxed set, but I didn't want to short myself any extras. And nice to see a fellow American on here!

If you're interested in the box set, I'd like to add that "Northern Soul" can be found on the DMS DVD, and the TwentyFourSeven DVD comes with the short "Three Tears For Jimmy Prophet." (The This Is England disc comes with a commentary.) I take it you have a multi-region player too? I love being able to play imports, even if I don't have very many yet...

Welcome to the site.....
.... be aware that the This Is Shane Meadows box-set includes the one-disc version of This Is England, so you will be missing some great extras there. Which is annoying!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, everyone! Yes, I am reconsidering the boxed set because of the lack of disc two of This Is England. What a great film, by the way. I was so surprised when I saw some actors from his past movies in it. Happily surprised. And yes, I do have a multi-region DVD player. Thank goodness. There are a lot of great movies in the world that will probably never be released in region 1.
