Its so nice to see that the rest of the world has recognised the talent that Shane Meadows spotted back in 2003! Toby Kebbell, who gave an incredible performance as Anthony in Dead Man's Shoes, is up for the BAFTA Rising Star award. Its the only one voted for by the public, so everyone should def vote for him at the - bafta.orange.co.uk/votes/cast/1/ He definitely deserves it, as I was convinced he was actually mentally disabled after watching it, and only realised he wasn't when I watched him play Rob Gretton in Control.

I can't vote on this thing since I don't live in the UK, but it's looking like Toby's already the front-runner.

He's in the new Woody Allen film isn't he? (If this has already been said, forgive me .. I've not been on here for a while and it's like trawling through a Cornishman's catch, all the new threads on here)
Apparently Woody watched Dead Man's Shoes and wanted him right away .. but not in gay way.

Vicky Christie Barcelona you mean? That's good! I'm rather looking forward to this film. I've voted for the ol' boy. Good luck to him!

I have already voted for him, love this actor. Saw him in dead mans shoes and was blown away by his performance, thought he was like that in real life. He plays the character well. Also saw him in his episode of the street, which i was equally as impressed.
