Nicely spotted! Front page news me-thinks! Shane on the TIE series: "So many people kept asking what happened to Woody etc. There were lots of characters that people enjoyed," he said. Hope Mr Gilgun does return... but imagine the hair clash between TIE the Series and Emmerdale! Which is easier, a bald cap for TIE, or a wig for Emmerdale?

I wish the script for King of the Gypsies was finished!
We have finished the first draft, not the entire writing process I'm afraid. We had to stop writing due to a hollywood mogul trying to get in on the act last year.
Draft two will commence this year but there is no way it will get made until 2010 at the earliest.
There is another project taking the place of Gypsies for this year as some people on here are already aware and I will give details on that as soon as they take off my legal gag!

Wasn't sure if this was really worth a mention, but I heard a review of Red Riding on Mark Lawson's Front Row Show (BBC R4) on Wednesday. Was short, but Paddy was singled out for praise for his performance. If anybody from Paddy's site is interested, there's a podcast on the show's website.

If not, you should get signed up and let them know about it on the forum over there. First draft eh! Thought it would be something like that. The cheeky local rag bigging up their teeny interview then.
